About the Trainer
Rasimah Jar , the Managing Director and Co-Founder of ProWISE Consultancy Pte Ltd (S'pore), has more than 18 years of work experience in the field of Leadership and Management, Psychology, Child and Family Development and Education. She has brought her varied expertise and leadership and managerial experiences to professionals and organisations in countries like Australia, Spain, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and recently Indonesia. She regularly conducts talks and workshops on professional development such as Management and Leadership skills, Personal Effectiveness and Relationship Enhancement at Work through D.I.S.C. Personality Style and Behavioural Coaching. She also conducts marriage enrichment workshops, coaching, counselling and mediation works for individuals, couples and families on a regular basis. Rasimah has shared her varied expertise with the public through her various publication works and has on various occasions been interviewed by the local Mediacorp's TV and radio channels.
Besides being a busy entrepreneur, wife and mother to four young children, Rasimah is also an Associate Lecturer for several private educational institutions in Singapore. She also develops Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) WSQ standard training curricula for training companies. She had also sat on several Singapore national committees which looked into national concerns like work-life balance, health, anti-drug abuse, voluntarism and youth action.
Rasimah holds several professional certifications and is a registered member of the Singapore Training and Development Association (STADA), a professional membership institution (recognised by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency, WDA) committed to the advancement of human capital development (HCD) field in Singapore. She is also a member of the International Professional Managers Association in UK.
